Alkhaleej Hub is an independent editorial home for thoughtfully crafted school resources — the kind we'd want our own students to read, question, and remember long after the lesson ends.
Alkhaleej Hub began in 2014 as a small lending library attached to a secondary school in Sharjah. Our founders — two literature teachers and a physics curriculum designer — were tired of textbooks that flattened ideas into bullet points. They started curating supplemental readings, primary sources, and discussion prompts that students actually wanted to take home.
Twelve years later, the shelf has become a digital library used by teachers, homeschoolers, and curious readers across the Gulf, the wider Arab world, and the global Arabic-diaspora community. Everything we publish still goes through the same ritual: a working draft is printed, marked up by hand, and rewritten at least twice before it ever reaches a screen.

They aren't slogans on a wall. They are the questions we ask ourselves in every editorial meeting, and the ones we expect our readers to ask of us.
If a 14-year-old can't follow an argument after a careful reading, the writing has failed — not the reader. We edit for comprehension first, style second, and we never use a five-syllable word when a two-syllable one will do.
Editorial · Principle 01Every claim that isn't common knowledge gets a citation, a named author, or a working link. We distinguish between primary sources, expert interviews, and editorial opinion — and we tell the reader which is which, in plain sight.
Editorial · Principle 02We'd rather publish forty pieces a year that we'll still stand behind in a decade than four hundred we'll quietly unpublish. Every issue is a deliberate selection — what to keep out is just as important as what to put in.
Editorial · Principle 03We're a deliberately compact editorial group. What we lack in headcount we try to make up for in patience, accuracy, and the kind of follow-through that turns one-time readers into regular ones.
